Sigmund Freud was both a cocaine and tobacco addict who developed his theories of human behavior after having shot up a decent quanitity of that partaicular South American alkaloid.
He was also so addicted to tobacco that he smoked his way through the surgical removal of most of his jawbone and eventually died from the tobacco induced cancer.
