even if we are the greatest country on the planet (which you can debate, but we are definitely the planets largest economy), we are arguably in decline.
certainly we have problems. we have the national debt, infrastructre decay, trade deficits and a dependence of foreign oil, and rank behind a long list of other countries in a number of quality of life categories.
so, yes, we can use some change.
but we aren't going to get it.
we have trapped ourselves.
