I am not writing a book. I do not post here as the master. Paul Markham does. He also brags about you cannot learn from books, that you can't change lenses on a DSLR and other such rubbish.
Some of the points he made about better quality would improve paysites income I agreed with until I saw what he means by better.
Now As this is called "Fucking Around etc" I think it is fair enough that I post what I think. Now him and others have called my photographs bad, and then all I did was post some pretty shitty looking pictures of their main pages. I would also point out that the photos I choose to represent my work are just from routine galleries. I thinl people can judge for themselves.
Now the other game being played here is...I am the best photographer, and when someone points out a rather poor picture, its "I am not a photographer I am pornographer" or look at how much money it made....
Now if it is discussion about photography, come clean from where are you coming from?
Now if people set themselves up as experts I think it is ok to ask them on what basis...
A degree in photography from a good school, prizes from internation competions, experience on a wide range of photographic projects,,,,that would be good, it would be worth listening to such a person....
If the sole basis is they have been photographing weddings for the last 20 years for example then we know on what basis the person speaks.
Again I do not pretend to be a woman. Although the majority of work has been done by woman on Cinema Erotique, sound, set design, make up and of course the models are woman ( except the male models )
