if your not worried about spiking insulin levels or losing weight too much smoothies are a great way to get your fibre in. Definitely want to buy your fruits in bulk when they are on sale and freeze them into single servings. Way easier to do it this way and despite what most people think freezing fruits and vegetables doesn't cause much nutritional loss at all. Also gives it an icecream/frozen yogurt kind of taste.

My basic smoothie is:

-2 cups apple juice as a base, i find it less overwhelming than OJ which takes over the taste.

- 1 single serving container of Low fat yogurt, not to watch my figure but i just find it leaves less of an after taste.

-2 ounces of blueberries

-4 ounces of strawberries

-2 ounces of bananas (not always but sometimes)

if you really don't like the taste of fruit I would suggest low fat milk as a base (again because the other stuff is just too rich to drink) and throw in some sugar free cocoa or chocolate and some natural peanut butter.. mask all that up... however you do get caffeine from the chocolate and there's some added calories so depends on where your priorities are at i guess.
