One thing I know for sure is, JJ doesn't let anyone around him get rich. He keeps everyone who works for him milking from his tit. That's how he operates.
Having said that, I believe 100% he left you broke as a joke as he did all his other employees. You may have received a small severance package, but probably not.
But you were also there when he was fucking everyone, so my pity only goes so far.
On the positive side, you'll be able to get out from under his tit and make your own living now and not have to chase him for payments that are weeks late.
