While they for sure have done some good, I would like to point out that they did fail on an epic level against .XXX and 2257. Probably two of the biggest issues we've had to face as an industry.

It was Connections Magazine and J. Michael Murry who had a victory on 2257, not the FSC.

But to your comment about .adult, there are positive and negatives to that. Positives would be the obvious, as you stated. However, the negatives to more TLDs is that there will be that much more porn online. For every TLD created for porn, you just doubled the amount of porn online, which eventually would blow up in our faces as porn would literally dominate the internet after a few porn based TLDs were created.
