Use betterbidding.com or biddingfortravel.com to do some research to see what certain area hotels are going for on priceline's name your own price. Then proceed to use that info to bid on priceline and you'll usualy get a rate 30-70% less than anything you'll see quoted online. If you can't find something in your area or your bids keep getting rejected, then hotwire is a nice second option.
