April fools or not. This is doesn't look sustainable.
There is no way you can be sure you will extract double that amount in actual profit from each customer who signs up, and unless you can be sure of that then you cannot sustain such a program. What if you get a lot of $99 standard user who decide after a few months to bail ? How do you make up the payout to affiliates and remain profitable ?
I agree your software is highly promotable, but I don't see the math working, feel free to convince me otherwise.
