I've seen full grown Akitas, but not puppies. The only breeds I'm very familiar with puppies of are American Eskimos, Pomeranians, and a cross of the two, called either Pomimos or Eskiepoms.

not arguing, just saying. i dont think it looks anything more like a pom than an akita besides its small
hard to have guessed chow/pom. i mean, that's a mix between a big dog and a toy size dog. it could have just been as easily mixed pom/akita for all we know, it was one photo. so he could have been right in picking one of the breeds
