One of 3 directors(we are all close friends), 1 of 2 cinematographers, I lit the band, and lit the green screen. 3 shooters and one assistant did this whole video.

I dont just shoot porn. I shoot a lot of mainstream stuff. Lots of green screen promo stuff for mainstream and adult clients.
We also have 2 Danzig music Video shoots coming out that will be pretty good.
You need to keep things in prospective. Yes there is money in mainstream, but there is a lot less music video shoots with descent budgets than there are porn shoots. I got music video directors that we are friends with, wanting to get into porn because they don't work enough.
If you are going to make money, you need to be good at everything and have your hands in everything. Living in LA does give me that advantage, but keep in mind, this place is knee deep in talent. Fortunately for me, the best and brightest dont get into porn.

I like GFY, I have friends here that i chat with and respect. You never see me posting "hire me" threads.
I like to share what i do and work on from time to time and if people want to hire me, they know where to find me. I don't work for peanuts and i way love adult more than mainstream. I will choose porn over mainstream any day of the week. Mainstream is great when you see the final product, but is so much of a pain in the ass on levels that you couldn't even imagine. Will make a thread about that.
I may not be the best shooter, but i am competent and know exactly what im doing when i grab a stills camera, a video camera, hard light, strobe lights, kino flows, etc.
