Red State tells the story of a group of kids who encounter a crazed preacher (based on Fred Phelps, founder of the Westboro Baptist Church) who gives a whole new meaning to the term “extreme fundamentalism”. The film stars John Goodman, Kevin Pollack, Kerry Bishe, Michael Parks, Kyle Gallner, Melissa Leo, Michael Angarano and Steven Root.
