Another vote for the old design here. I realize you gotta push the whole "3d aspect here" but this logo and text there looks like it was made with Instant 3D Animated Gif Creator for Windows 98. Those blue buttons are horrible too, gives me flashback of photoshop v5. The eyecandy plugin for that had a filter to make buttons like that.
