I'm watching my Three's Company seasons on DVD (I own them all), and I just got to the episode where the Ropers come back. In one of the scenes, Jack, Mr. Furley, Mr Roper, and Mrs Roper were all in the same room. And it dawned on me. Everyone in this room is dead.

Eerie, huh?
