the problem is what we are told and what is the truth is two big things.
do not forget they have some great weapons. mainly as we (UK) supplied them.
i supose its a win win for the uk. if we loose at least we can claim it was due to them having great wepons. plus we can sell them more as they will need them. mabe this is just to encourage them to buy more arms from us.
