not my kind of thing but I understand it completely...
think about it, most guys want to be with multiple girls most of the time anyway (it's innate so don't even bother trying to deny that) so swingers deal with it by telling their significant others that they want to be in an open relationship. So by doing that it opens the door for you to be with other women and allows your gf/wife to do the same. I should mention that both parties would have to be 100% for it before doing it or it would be a mess i would imagine!
As for worrying about other guys dicks being bigger than yours and you worried about your gf/wife enjoying someone else more that is more of a confidence issue.
in short, better than cheating isn't it? This way nobody gets betrayed or lied to.
