Since you happen to suffer from not being able to tell that the shots in video #1 were taken from air, thus making everything seem SMALL, go rewind here:
3:00 - that's a canal/river. Banks of those are usually 4-6 feet high. At least. That got engulfed in seconds. 3-4 feet of water would NOT have done it. It would have merged with the canal.
3:26 - Yes, that's a big boat surfing at the top of the screen. 3-4 feet my ass.
