Interesting story about that shot: on the previous lap, the red bike was in a minor crash that resulted in the head being turned. Those RC bikes are designed to "get back up" on there own after a crash, so the driver of the bike just kept on racing with the rider's head turned like that. It wasn't a staged shot, just luck hehehe.
