I'm not sure if any of it is going to make a great deal of difference in actual sales. But I do know that it's gonna make a difference in my own professional pride in what I do.
As I said earlier...I don't agree with your assessment of the adult industry. But I do enjoy reading what you're saying about actual shooting.
And why you even bother with Fabian is beyond me. Take "his" money if you want. I wouldn't give him the time of day.

IMO for you shooting your partner and your niche the connection between you and Marie is the most important thing.
Taking the mike off camera stops any camera noises or even your heavy breathing.
Both can put off the viewers pleasure of the scene unless you're shooting Gonzo and part of the scene.
Your site's appeal relies mostly on Marie and how you capture her. This is the same as all solo girl personality sites. If you can capture her better then it's got to help.
For sites like Manwins it's essential. Otherwise it's just another wall to wall of boring content porn site. That anyone can put up and the members know this and will soon be off to see someone else's version of the same porn style. Including some bad mistakes is going to shorten the membership length.
There the member is, lube in one hand, cock in the other, head phones on to enjoy every sound. And his ears get blown off by her clacking on the floor. Fabian buy your shooter a little mat or tell your editors to fucking learn how to edit.
Or a sound coming across that sounds like a fart. Or she talks to him, while the shooter is shooting her pussy. Or he gets to see her in 1/3 of his screen and in the rest the room. Or the sun hits his lens, or a plane flies over or a chain saw starts up next door. All going to hurt retention.
As for my assessment of the porn industry. This is a given.
We couldn't get away with elementary mistakes like that in the past. Today it's made in sites some think represent good porn. 
Is the Brazzers site any better? Not if these contract guys are shooting for it.
As for giving him the time of day. I would. To tell him what I think of him.
He's now paying me $3,000 to shoot a scene for me to show myself how much I've recovered.
The sad part of this is obviously I do have something to teach to his shooters and any other shooter who thinks this is good content. Will anyone contact me to help them improve their members area?
