I used to have a purple car. It was a 1991 Mazda MX3 that I bought brand new in 1994. Because it was purple no one wanted to buy it so it sat on the lot for three years. I got it nearly half off, and when I went to trade it in a year later it was worth more than I had originally paid for it - because it four year old car with only 15k miles on it.
