Dumb?
Several years ago, I got off work & stopped at the local grocery store. As I got out of the car, a police car rolled up to the front door with 2 cops & a couple of grocery store workers. From what I overheard, a guy tried to use a stolen credit card then ran out of the store & they were out looking for him. Then he came back a second time. The younger cop started walking towards me & I guess since the thief & I both had beards, he assumed I was the thief back for a third time. He went into arrest mode, until the older, wiser cop told him to stop.
Damn, I could have made a fortune from false arrest
