You would expect someone in his position to utilize a certain degree of common sense and good judgment. The little girl got lippy and threw a tude the chief's way, he got pissed and tased her ass. Why? Because he could.
I have a 17 year old daughter and trust me, I've wanted to tase her ass more than once...daily. If I did and was reported, I would be in jail. If I did that much damage to her, I would be in prison. I could imagine explaining that one to the judge. "Well your honor, I told her to stop and she disobeyed my direct command. So I tased her ass!" Shouldn't a parent have as much control over their 14 year old child than a police officer? If so, why aren't we allowed to tase them?
