I watched alot of the revamped episodes. Here's what I saw:

- Super-clean images. All the scratches and "dirt" removed.
- All the colors fixed. Higher saturation, correct flesh tones, etc.
- All new visual fx. Enterprise, planets, etc, all in CG.
- Better sound. New recording of theme song, in stereo.



What they didn't change is the style. Even though the Enterprise is CG, it still looks exactly like the original 60's version. I am not sure now but I think the sound track is still mono, which is fine actually. No changes at all to the editing. No change to the framing, frame size, aspect ratio, etc. No changes to hardware or placement of props etc, anywhere that I noticed. (And I always notice these things).
