Copyright would have to be the only place I have ever seen such a opinion.
for example :
- Why can't I use an illegal cable box to legally get cable? Ask OJ.
- Why can't I legally buy and keep a stolen car?
- Why can't I legally withdraw $1 million from my bank account that was illegally
transferred there by mistake?
- Why can't I legally gamble in an illegal casino?
- Why can't someone legally fuck a 15 year old that showed them an illegal ID saying she
was 20?
Copyright, it's not about law, it's about the whole world not wanting to pay
for something that they can so easily steal. It is so easy to steal that it's hard
for people, including lawyers and judges to call it what it is. Theft.
