Ehh, as much as I DON'T want to get into another argument about 3-D....
I wish that people would stop using the tired ass "fad" and "bandwagon" when speaking about 3-D, Fads and bandwagons don't span 6 decades!!!
3-D has been around since the 50's, YES we are still pushing the red/blue (green/magenta) (etc/etc) stuff but that's simply because THAT is the easy method of delivery at this moment ANNNNNND IF it ain't broke don't fix it
The high end 3-D glasses (you get at the movies like Avatar and such) or the ones you buy for $200 - $500 with the new 3-D TV's are NOT widespread enough and BECAUSE OF THAT, LOOK at what kind of glasses are SHIPPED with the new 3-D DVD's / BluRays.
This is NOT a fad, the Pet Rock was a fad, Disco was a fad (thank god for that lol) but when you look at a medium that has been going since the 1950's with movies, books, posters, comic books, cereal boxes, videos, etc etc etc that is getting stronger and stronger by the year (hell month these days) HOW can anyone with half a brain use the word Fad or Bandwagon??
