That's exactly what I'm saying... you're using micro fractions of stats to come up with your conclusion. Using conversion ratio - as your indicator that things improved, is exactly the point, it's not good math.
Lots of people have been using drm, encryption, ect to protect steams for over 10 years and keeping up with piracy, sure isn't anything new. So here you are, saying it does improve it, when we have 10+ years of stats, information, and proof that shows it does nothing of the sort.
That doesn't mean don't protect your content - it means don't feed people bullshit based off crap stats.
