Its not as high as the carriers cut (40-60%) for on deck sales but agree it could really backfire! The funny thing will be if the content providers have to charge more for their products to cover the cut given to apple the customers will only see the content providers as greedy. Has been going on for years with the carriers and has never really been any education for customers!
Smartphones took the power from the carriers and gave it back to the consumers and the iPhone was the catalyst shame that now they are going full circle and one by one replicating the carriers mistakes.
