A surfer on a mobile device can hardly use your site, just because they're on your site doesn't mean they can use it worth a crap. If you don't want to do a redirect, then give them a mobile site to enjoy. I promise you they leave your site right now to find a site that works for them - don't let them do that.
A lot more webmasters already do something about it....

That depends if you're using PPS or Revshare... most pps programs only pay on the main cc form sales, and most send traffic to various places on exits, xsales, upsells, ect without crediting you.
I don't consider this theft at all, I consider it your responsibility to monetize the device traffic because you can't use it right now. Just like I consider it the programs responsibility to monetize the traffic they can't do anything with.
Straight up - no reason for both of you to be stubborn.
