For all the writing that I do on a daily basis, I find I'm sort of at a loss for words. I mean, really... how *does* one post sincere congratulations to one's boss without sounding like a complete and total suck up?
I suppose it's alright though, because even though I work for the man, I still have some serious fan-girl like moments. I've been a Wasteland fan since I was at Stockroom, and a Colin fan since the first time I met him. I'm immensely proud to be a part of his team.
I'm not at all surprised by either award, even though they both made me tear up a bit. If you've ever seen *inside* of Wasteland, you would know that it's truly an amazing collection of content, and practically a digital history of kinky internet porn in and of itself. Anyone who has ever spoken to Colin for more than 5 minutes (or heard him speak on a panel) knows that he has strong opinions and no problem at all telling us what they are. The thing that sets him apart is that he consistently walks his talk.
So congratulations, bossman on the Specialty Site of the Year, and the FSC Leadership Award. You truly are deserving of both.
