Among lots of other pay site specific functions, Elevated X does what you described - When you add a photo set or video you can schedule it to rotate like this indefinitely. The system rotates content so that sets are shown/go live for a specific time period and then go offline and vanish from a site for a specific period before being shown again as a new update.

Unfortunately our CMS isn't freeware and from what you said it will be beyond overkill for your needs anyway. If you do decide to consider pay site management software please visit our site to check out a demo of our system and see what it does out of the box with no coding required.
