Easy to play armchair quarterback and second guess motives etc with a video like that.
I'd like to hear first-hand what the soldiers themselves had to say about it before passing judgement, or spewing out sweeping generalizations.
But that's just me. I like to get the full story before calling out a country for cowardice.
