If you are half as good as you say you are, then there should be no shortage of dealerships waiting to hire you.
Offer your services to multiple dealers that do not want or need a full time web guy.
Offer your services on an a la carte basis.
Alternatively, make a deal with a few different dealerships and start brokering cars yourself with the leads that you can and will generate.
Do NOT train your replacement under any circumstances.
Make sure that you have records of everything that you have done.
Should you actually go to some sort of arbitration or court, make sure that you have had all your activities recorded in a diary. Judges love that sort of thing.
