I've read over this thraed (and the other). My conclusion:
Xstream Cash hired Viper to do some work. The impression that i got was that if he produced, he'd have some work. If not, like in any job, he'd be laid off. He didn't produce very much at all, and was let go. He was paid for what he did.
I do not see the problem. But hey, that's just me.
