How is it that most people I know that have decent jobs can't afford health care with less than $1000 deductibles and still barely covers stuff, but Federal employees have policies that cover boob implants and frivolous bullshit and are "rolls royce" type policies, and can retire in their 50's at 75% pension and have full health care. There are no private sector jobs that have anything like this anymore for anyone other than very top level executive status.
I can go on, but then I just sound like an anti-gov anti union loon, which I don't think I am.

Use your head. Common sense will tell you that all of this will end badly. It's not a matter of IF, it's a matter of WHEN.
However, the USA will pull through whatever happens. Life will just be a little different.

Gold and silver, especially coins, will be used as trade in the event the bottom falls out, along with other items. And yes, it's also good to have a weapon or two. Get a 12 gauge shotgun and plenty of shells for it, that's all you need for home protection unless you really know how to use a handgun.
If anyone wants to know what to expect should it happen, spend some time reading up on the Argentina and Zimbabwe crash and how they survived it and some of the shit they went through.
There is nothing wrong with educating yourself and being a little prepared for the worst. In the event something did happen, you will be thanking your self that you did. Those who didn't, because they were in denial or for any other reason, will be in a world of hurt.
Just like martial arts or any sort of combat, you hope you never have to use it. But if you do, you're ready, and it just may save your life.
