When posting on message boards, grammar and spelling kinda goes out the window for me (but I don't write ebonics). At my day job, I need to write well and produce clean documents and email correspondence. When I'm posting on GFY and other boards, I want to "get away" from the grind of work, so I'm not gonna get in "work mode" and flip out over whether my writing complies with the Chicago Manual of Style.
