you can't "say" an apostraphe
you can write one , but speaking it is rather difficult.
Either way unless it's in print, like a book or newspaper , it's just ease of use.
p.s. worrying about it is silly , you waste your time worrying about it , while the "uneducated" people are off having fun getting laid.. what would you rather do , get laid or write "you're" properly ?
