The issue is that as much as people hate hearing it - the tubes are not "illegal" and if they are considerate to take down content in reasonable time then they are operating "lawfully". So that means it is less like the mob, and more like say... the electric company. well using that analogy it would be more like the power company is going to steal the power you generate so you might as well sell it to them instead. i don't believe they are acting lawfully. its legal to upload stolen content as long as you take it down when you are DMCA'ed? Don't fall for the "user submitted" crap for a second. Its obviously lies. it might work for you to work with them instead of fighting them but you are feeding the beast that is killing in the industry.
