Jimmycastor, this is a misunderstanding of what you ordered from us. Our current VPS plans on the site are listed as managed plans. We don't give out root access on our managed plans as we aren't going to compete with the client when it comes to managing the plan, we are not the only hosting company that handles their managed plans this way. If you really want a self or semi-managed plan with root access on a VPS plan all you have to do is contact us. As to SSH access, all VPS and Dedicated plans include SSH access, you just need to submit your IP address to support so we can add it to our firewall. I know this may seem like an inconvenience but it helps with network security.
