About adding IPs, I of course have no insight at all what happened in your specific case but I do know that IPs sometimes can take a bit of time to re-route. And if I were a tech, I wouldn't reply back to the customer before it's in a working condition.
I guess you're talking about my post. They weren't adding IPs to their DNS or anything like that. It was just to whitelist my IP range on my server for stuff I had installed. There was nothing they could do to see if it was working right except ask me sense it was my IP. The response times I posted are normal for me, not just that ticket. I guess they don't like me if you guys are getting these amazing response times, oh well.
