Amazing, this threat keeps in top forever. I propose is made a specific area of GFY about Manwin debates, and ban these from main thread?
The photographer no more gets $3000 per solo maybe (I don't know how much Brazzers, RK or others pays for one), but some cam girls and their "studio boss" if any, can get in some cases more then $3000 per few hours (the time you needed for custom shoot) due to crazy tips or whales who pay $8+ a minute for hours - in certain cam sites. Of course I am talking of 50 out of 1000 models who are online in these cam sites, so 950 models do $50 per day only - is not an average but a top. But still that's lots "solo content" who is "shoot for internet" which is paid $3000+ from dozens of "producers".
Photographer is middlemen who is kicked out by the independent model, or, there's a studio guy in place of photographer - some my studio guys are photographers too.
BTW In what years $3000 was the norm? Solo girl scene was under $1000 for czech content providers around year 2000 and there was no tubes yet. Actually it was in 2003 that I decided to move from prerecorded content to live cams. I simply noticed in 2003 what you say now in 2011: prerecorded content pays so lower unless you work for a brazzers or rk or met-art or so, which can't hire everyone, like not all actors make $$.
I had your same concern, then what I done (but in 2003, not 2011) is I add in photo studios some good internet line, connect the videocam to pc's and put the girls online, first in existing cam sites then I built my cam sites too. Others who was in photo shooting changed style or customers or adapted in some way, I can't believe everyone who done photo shoots is now unemployed, they all must do $$ in some way.
You complain that by doing exactly the same of 1990's job, you no more do the same money, which is true (I agree with you, whatever the reason is tubes or not), but then what is the point? You say the whole world it should change rather than yourself to adapt? Let you have the magic power to let Manwin close all the own tube sites and join some Church due to mystical idealism. Let a dozen other tube companies do the same. Let the rapishare, hotfile etc. trading sites be all jailed for some Iran or North Korea laws that may be implemented worldwide. Let the interpol go arrest people using torrent p2p client form their personal homes. Do you really think this would be enough to have 1990's back completely? Actually there's so much amateur (so legal and legitimate) material around, and now there's even free legal live sex in sites like cam4 and myfreecams (and I will launch one of those live tube soon too), so you should also make illegal to just show pussy unless you're shoot by a content provider, this is again North Korea or Iran.

Actually I still cry for Commodore 64 and Amiga computers being out of market, I was doing very well there and everyone known and respected me, in another thread some old guys cry about how BBS's and IRC #Efnet it was cool, but that's history and not today's business, is just old times to talk about, and history material.
Sure I am not still using a Commodore Amiga, no more in BBS's or IRC channels, and not blaming Microsoft(manwin) or Bill Gates(Nathan?) for having caused all the bad of the universe. As well as I am not organizing shoot of content for launch teen sites anymore, altough someone does still so managed to adapt in some way, an dI cooperate with them by put live cam teens in their member area and it all works well for all of us.
