i produced a link of a video that was still up even though the entire account was suspended for "copyright infringement"
undeniable proof that youtube doesn't remove all the videos when they suspend an account
youtube covers their ass better than anyone, they don't take down shit unless they have someone else to blame, weather it be a law (kiddie porn, killing cats) or a valid dmca take down notice.
as i pointed out dmca safe harbor doesn't give immunity for taking down content it only gives transactional immunity for infringing. the liability for a false takedown is only transfered to the person making the takedown notice.
if youtube was to take down the videos without getting a notice there would be no one to transfer the liablity to, and therefore it would be on their shoulders.
youtube is not stupid they would accept that that why i could find an example of an account being suspended and still have a video left up still getting hits.
