The first one is just some fancy jquery fixed imagery. It's actually really easy to do (you can basically do it by fixing images, and setting their scroll rate to different variables). It's got some wow factor but I don't see the overall appeal for it. I've seen lots of other sites do it much more subtly which looks better imo. Giving it depth and motion, but not overdoing it.
The second one is terrible. Functionality and usability straight down the shitter. Again, I think they over did it to go with wow factor instead of better design and usability.
The third is too busy. It has more of a news site layout, and doesn't seem to work very well for what their company does.
So, for better examples/designs?
I think the nike site could have done better with a design like airwalk did

For the uniqlo site:
