a few things.
- you can ignore the book list as any clue to his politics. it includes both animal farm and the communist manifesto so it looks like he just had a wide reading range and was probably just reading the works of the "enemy" and well as things he supported.
- the closest to anything political in his videos/writings is a reference to returning to the constitution, which would put him in the consitutionalist/populist camps.
- but most of the people in those camps hate mainstream politics and media so blaming palin, beck, the tea party for this is silly and just mainstream political point scoring.
- from his writings he looks like he's gained his knowledge from the infowars, rense, zeigiest etc. sites, movies and movements.
- if you want to know what kind of politics that is go read some recent splc reports on resurgent militia movements.
- political knowledge in the US is very poor due to a gutted educational system and reality show style political discourse so many people who think they are politically aware don't even have the basics of the political spectrum and positions down. that's why it is hard to pin this guys politics, as well as the v for vendetta loser, the guy who flew his plane into the irs building. it is just some incoherent and half-baked world view taken from right and left wing sources, of course always proclaiming to "beyond right and left."
- these people are just against "the system" but since political expression and organization is a joke in the US, this is how people do it.
