don't buy those small ass similar to analog looking ecigs. waste of money, batteries dont last long, and overall inconvenience to deal with them.
things to consider - a good lasting battery is 650mAh and up, volatage 3.2-3.7 (there are 5+ volts bats but thats extreme especially for beginners. (if you can't find specs on a product you are concidering to get - most likely their battery is shit)
i have 900mah battery that lasts me 1.5-2 days of constant vaping (i used to be pack a day guy)
I hated atomizer+ cartridge combination. some pre-filled cartridges may last upto half a day to a day. while refilling needs to be done before each vaping session - i mean, refill lasts close to single analog cig - in my experience. for constant vaping with atomizers people go with drip tips - the end is open allowing you to drip and vape.
I prefer cartomizers (atomizer+ cartridge two in one) refilling those realistically looking lasts about 2-4 analogs between refills. drip tips can be used with these too. now i've got CE2 r4 cartomizers - ceramic cartos second edition revision 4 )))) they are a bit of pain on the maintenance side but once you get a hand of it you dont have to refill them quiet often. vape production is better and vape is cleaner than with cartos and cartridges. with E2's one must consider resistance levels.. i found for 3.2-3.7 volt batteries, carts with 2.8-3omh work great
with all this said i definitely recommend go with Joey Ego brand or spinoffs of it such as Rivo, Tornado etc. default battery 650mah and there are kits avail with 900mahs and more. you won't need nothing else in terms of a device. if you're unsure about their look and like to have more conventional similar to reg cig type devise i would recommend vapor king (vapor4life.com) or Joey 510. all smaller devices are shit IMHO.
