If a store decides to give away products for free, which they often do with "get two for the price of one" promos, it's their problem. You're not breaking the law if you take a free product home. However, you are breaking the law if you illegally download copyrighted material.

People search for "porn", Google tells them to go to Pornhub and it's all very convenient. They don't know they're breaking the law. People would pay for porn, but it's EASIER to get it for free.

The illegal sites are often more modern and professional looking than the pay sites, why would the surfer think they're doing anything wrong?
