I love Firefox but to be fair I believe you see that because Chrome uses separate processes. It's also the case that on many systems the memory usage reported under Task Manager isn't actually being used as it appears with shared memory. Since Chrome uses separate processes it will always use slightly more (around 10 - 30%) memory than browsers that don't however it's not quite as bad as it might appear.
