I did it few times in Moscow, but only after sauna. They put a big wooden boat in the middle of the frozen lake, with a built in sauna and break out the ice nearby for jumping in. The coldest temperature outside was -30. You can walk naked on the ice after the jump, you feel nothing. All you do is smile and scream
