IMHO its the surfer mentality.
Most of us were porn surfers before we got into the biz, that's how we found out about it, and the new webmaster needs to learn to stop thinking like a surfer and start thinking like a webmaster.
And they can come to GFY and find an unlimited number of like minded people that they can talk to about why its someone else's fault that they're not making money.
When I started GFY wasn't around, I cut my teeth on Voltar's board, one of the most important things I learned there is that the surfer is not your friend, the surfer is cattle, to be herded to where you see fit.
