Well, here's my prediction then:

1.) There isn't going to be a war between the North and South. China won't allow it. Neither the South or the US (especially) want to see a war, and China was absolutely no desire to send soldiers into Korea, especially considering they don't even need to.

2.) If the North starts acting stupid, China will just tell them to shut up, which they will. And more than likely, the North has already been told that. It's already been heavily reported that China is getting fed up with the North, and the newer generation of leaders even more so.

3.) You have to understand, for all intents & purposes, China currently owns the economies of almost every SE Asia country, have the US basically bought & paid for, are quickly moving in on the Australian economy, etc. China doesn't need or want to goto war. They're more than happy using their intelligence & economic superiority to take over countries' economies, which they're very good at. China doesn't have to fire a single shot.

4.) If I had to make a guess, I would say if anything, a deal will be brokered to unite the two Koreas under Seoul leadership, which will be backed by China. However, China will make sure Seoul treats them very favorably when it comes to contracts, natural resources, etc.

North Korea disappears, South Korea gets to live in peace, and China basically gets both Koreas. And not a single shot will be fired in the entire process.
