If you owe someone money pay up. They earned it. Pay them karma's a bitch especially if they need that money more than you do.
Dave's been very fortunate in life. Beautiful wife and kids, made a killing, lots of fun toys. I don't know why he is inviting this crap into his life. If you screw someone over don't be surprised if you, your wife, your kids, your dog, your neighbors, and everything else in your life gets dragged in. It's all fair game. All you have to do is fuck the wrong person and you end up regretting it for life.
Maybe he lives in a bubble and doesn't feel there are any consequences to his actions.
