I have a question for FSC.
What do you intend to do now that ICANN is determined to approve .XXX and the only thing holding them up is that little thing called support from the sponsored community, and the blessing of the GAC?
This whole thing wreaks of a movie plot at this point. It's apparent that Lawley has obviously gotten to ICANN and now I would assume the next move from him is to "make a friend" inside GAC somehow, or potentially have his ICANN ally now try to lobby the GAC in his favor financially and or politically somehow. Everyone likes money.
How does the FSC intend to thwart the attempts of ICM to get to the GAC and corrupt the process that is apparently not working in his favor this whole time?
It's brutally obvious by the comments during the commenting periods opened by ICANN that he does not have the support of the industry, and that all early registrations were accomplished by opportunists, domaineers, and scared .com TLD holders. The GAC saw right through it the first time.
Who's going to get bought off this time around? What can the FSC do to help thwart this, or at least be able to blow the whistle on some corruption?
This whole thing is stinking like a dead corpse at this point.
FYI, thanks for fighting the fight so far. This has been going on for over 5 years now.
Thanks.
